This Safeguarding Adults at Risk course looks at recognizing and alerting others to suspected abuse. SAAR training is targeted towards staff involved in the delivery of direct care provision to vulnerable adults in residential and domiciliary care settings
The SAAR course covers the Care Quality Commission and Skills for Care requirements. This course meets Standard 5 of Skills for Care: Recognise and respond to abuse and neglect.
The Safeguarding Adults at Risk (SAAR) course is run over a period of 3 hours, the times can be suited to your requirements.
Responsibilities of Multi agencies
Define Abuse/at risk groups
Name forms and types of abuse
Develop strategies to protect adults at risk
Describe how to monitor individuals at risk
Identify the process for reporting and protecting adults at risk (whistleblowing)
Complete body maps/evidence
Discuss organisational responsibilities
Access current legislation guidance
Policies and procedures
A certificate is awarded on successful completion of the Safeguarding Adults at Risk course
The price for this course is from £29 per person based on a minimum of 8 people, extra persons wishing to attend the course will be charged at £20 per person. (Maximum of 20 persons per Course)
