Course Aims
This qualification will benefit anyone working with hazardous substances in a workplace and the programme focuses on the information employees need to know regarding substance, hazards and their control.

Course Content
Successful completion of the training programme and the assessment will enable candidates to understand:
The scope of hazardous substances in the workplace
The range of legislation covering hazardous substances
How hazardous substances adversely affect health
Methods of identification of hazardous substances
Sources of guidance available for the safe use of hazardous substances
The range of control measures available for the safe use of hazardous substances
The purpose and content of COSHH assessments
Course Certification
The candidates are assessed by an examination paper consisting of 30 multiple choice questions to be completed in 1 hour at the end of the course.
Fees
The course price is from £235 per group of 8 persons. Extra persons attending the course will be charged at £25 per person. This includes food hygiene book, course materials and in house certificate. CIEH Certification is an additional £10 per candidate
