Course Aims
This course will benefit those working directly with patients/clients in health and social care environment. It will help care workers recognise the causes of infection and help them to assess the risks that their actions have on the health of their patients/clients whether that is in residential care or in their own homes in the private or public care sectors

Course Content
Successful completion of the training programme and assessment will enable candidate to:
Understand the terminology used in good hygiene practice
Relationship of hazard and risk in prioritising action
Relevant legislation relating to hygiene practice
Concepts of hygiene hazards and infection control
Importance of good personal hygiene
Need for high standards of cleanliness to help prevent infection
Controls and procedures

A certificate of attendance is awarded on successful completion of the course.
Fees
The price for this course is from £235 per group of 8 persons, extra persons wishing to attend the course will be charged at £20 per person. (Maximum of 20 persons per Course)
