First Aid – Basic Life Support/AED

Course Information

Course Aims

This course incorporates all the necessary theory and practical skills of CPR. It also teaches you to recognise signs and symptoms of the casualty and priorities of treatment

Course Duration

The course is 1 - 2 hours

Course Content

Recognition of the unconscious casualty
CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
Management of the airway
Bag valve mask, pocket face mask etc.
Choking and recovery position
Practical use of AED

Course Certification

A basic life support certificate is awarded as an attendance certificate; this is subject to completion of the course and satisfaction of the Instructor and the end of course practical assessments.

Fees

The price for this course is from £19 per person based on a minimum of 8 people, extra persons wishing to attend the course will be charged at £15 per person. (Maximum of 12 persons per Course)
