
The purpose of the course is to introduce a greater awareness of the hazards of fire, how it spreads, to recognise the threat to persons and property, to understand why fire emergency procedures are implemented and to distinguish between the different types of extinguishers and the fires they are best suited for.
It has now become mandatory for all employed staff to be trained in the use of basic fire fighting equipment and fire prevention as defined in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
The course is 2 hours long.

A class practical session on the operation and use of fire extinguishers. This session is outdoors and only includes the fire extinguishers that are in use throughout the client’s buildings.
An attendance certificate is awarded on completion of the course; this is subject to satisfaction of the instructor and the end of course practical assessments.
The price for this course is from £35 per person based on a minimum of 8 people, extra persons wishing to attend the course will be charged at £25 per person. (Maximum of 20 persons per Course)
