This course looks at recognizing and alerting others to suspected abuse. It is targeted towards staff involved in the delivery of direct care provision to vulnerable adults in residential and domiciliary care settings
The course covers the Care Quality Commission and Skills for Care requirements. This course meets Standard 5 of Skills for Care: Recognise and respond to abuse and neglect.
This course is run over a period of 3 hours, the times can be suited to your requirements.

Develop strategies to minimize abuse
Describe how to monitor individuals at risk of abuse
Identify the process for reporting suspected abuse

Discuss organizational responsibilities
Access current legislation guidance
Policies and procedures both Safeguarding and associated...ie whistle blowing, medication, restraint, disciplinary etc
A certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course. The certificate is issued by NAPPI UK (Non Abusive Psychological and Physical Intervention)
The price for this course is from £29 per person based on a minimum of 8 people, extra persons wishing to attend the course will be charged at £20 per person. (Maximum of 20 persons per Course)
