My name is Dennis Du-Cro and I am a qualified, professional trainer, who delivers
statutory training to the care sector, in line with national care standard’s requirements,
TOPSS and NVQ Standards. My aim is to approach companies that need a training provision
for statutory training to help them meet their legal obligations. For 10 years, I worked for large
training companies in the nursing and care sector delivering hands on training to all levels
of staff within various organisations.Following many years of experience I decided to continue
my career as a self employed trainer and deliver these courses on my own. This has enabled
me to offer considerably lower prices compared to other training providers, because of lower
overheads.
The training delivered is practical, informative and ‘hands on’ with maximum participation
from the class. This gives confidence to the student to perform their tasks and also aids fun
and interest to the course, rather than being boring and mundane which mandatory training
can sometimes be. Also, the training is designed to encourage students to share their
personal experiences. Team building exercises such as role plays, help students to relate
their training to their own organisation. Staff with learning needs are discreetly helped and
positively reassured that they can perform their set tasks.
